Eyes are very important. We have a pair of eyes which enable us to see the world. Because of eyes, we can see the beautiful scenery, we can see people around us, we can watch the movies, and even we can see the bad things in our life such as the criminal actions. Many people also got eyes disorders which are known as near-sighted, far-sighted, and cylinder eyes. Those disorders can be helped by wearing glasses. Although you do not have such eyes disorders, eyes still have limitations. Therefore, we make optical instruments that help us to see the objects that cannot see by naked eyes.

To see the tiny objects like bacteria, we can use a microscope. To see the very distant objects we can use a telescope. If the objects are not too far, you can use binocular. Binocular has the same function with telescope, but it has two mirrors on a single frame. Mostly, the binocular is held by using our two hands. You can find binoculars used in military, hunting, sports, and also in opera. Because the need of binocular used in each of those activities is different among the other, thus the type of binocular itself is also varied.
